We were delighted to welcome back two of our National Certificate in Agriculture (NCA) graduates to the college in July!
Alan Pumford and Peter Robinson studied with us as part of our 1960-61 cohort and lived on campus for the duration of their training days. They spent the morning exploring old haunts across campus and they even had the chance to take a look inside what was their old dormitory room, which remains accommodation for our current students.
Both Alan and Peter were most excited to take a trip around the farm, somewhere they spent plenty of their time as students. Peter said: “It was truly amazing to see how Reaseheath has expanded from our time at the college to the vast complex it is today. Quite mind boggling.”
After a lovely morning investigating old hangouts at Reaseheath Alan and Paul headed into the nearby town of Nantwich to continue their day of reminiscing. They finished the whistle stop tour at the ‘Boot and Shoe’, the pub that Peter celebrated his 18th birthday at! A most memorable day was had all round and this hopefully will be the beginning of future trips back to the college!
